Meet Our Founding Ninja — Dan

Every great business starts with a spark — and for Dan, that spark lit up long before most kids ever think about business. Even as a preteen, Dan had the entrepreneurial bug. He was always curious about how things worked, how people built businesses, and how they turned ideas into income.

His introduction to small business came through his best friend’s family — a group of hardworking entrepreneurs who ran several businesses of their own. Dan jumped at any chance to help out, soaking up every bit of knowledge he could. Those early days became his first real classroom, and the lessons he learned there laid the foundation for everything that followed.

A Lesson That Stuck

Dan remembers a moment that shaped his outlook on business forever.

“My best friend’s family was involved in all kinds of small businesses. His grandfather, though, really stood out. He built an incredible legacy — worth tens of millions, with streets and parks named after him. To me, he was living proof of what business success looked like.

I still remember when a local newspaper asked him what his secret was. He said, ‘Hard work. Treating people the way you want to be treated. And always doing the right thing.’

Simple advice — but it stuck with me. I’ve carried those three principles into every business I’ve built since.”

Built Through Real-World Experience

After studying Business Management, Marketing, Business Law, and International Business, Dan realized that real-world experience was where he thrived.

Over the years, he has built, operated, and sold several successful businesses across different industries — not from theory, but through hands-on experience, trial and error, and lessons earned the hard way. Each venture reinforced what actually works, what doesn’t, and where most new business owners struggle the most.

Along the way, Dan has also consulted with numerous small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs who were eager to start or grow their own businesses. Through these conversations and real-world consulting experiences, he gained firsthand insight into the common challenges, misconceptions, and roadblocks that prevent many business owners from moving forward with confidence.

When asked about My Business Ninja, Dan is quick to say it’s more than just another business — it’s a passion project.

“My Business Ninja is my way of helping others avoid some of the mistakes I made. I learned a lot of lessons the hard way — through trial and error, late nights, and plenty of failed attempts. I know how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to figure everything out on your own.”
